Valentine’s Day was one of the most bone-chillingly cold winter days here in Southern Ontario.
Nicole and Geoff will go down in the books as the two bravest engaged folks I know for enduring the feisty frost that day. They also managed to look completely adorable in the process. Love is a powerful thing, am I right?

We decided to spend the afternoon at Waterloo park, close to where the two lovebirds first met. Due to the freezing temperatures, we had the park to ourselves and there was something magical about the solitude – especially when light snowflakes started to fall.

I can’t help but think that Geoff’s decision to propose to Nicole with a bowl of ice cream was a foreshadowing of the frozen temperatures this Valentine’s day. It was totally an ice cream kinda day – sweet & cold.

These two will be getting married in December of this year and I’m so completely honoured to be shooting their big day.
